Mashujaa
Band and Mashauzi Classic will perform at this year’s Miss Tabata
beauty contest set for June 1 at Da’ West Park, Tabata on the western

The

organisers had decided to bring the two bands to perform because the
duo had different music tastes.
Mashauzi Classic led by Isha Mashauzi is a taarab group while Mashujaa is the current top band in the country’s pop music bands.
“We
want fans to feel tastes of different types of music at Miss Tabata and
that is why we decided to invite different entertainers to thrill the
contestants and the fans,” Kalinga said, noting that the contest will
be used to mark 10 years of the pageant.
He
said 18 aspirants were undergoing rehearsals at Da West Park. They are
Neema Saleh (18), Noella Michael (19), Queen Issa (20), Hycalisa Joseph
